Ingredients
For the Steak:
- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
For the Noodles:
- 8 ounces fettuccine, spaghetti, or egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional, for depth of flavor)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with 2 tablespoons of butter, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.
Step 2: Sear the Steak
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter. Once melted, add the steak pieces in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Add minced garlic, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to coat. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Reduce heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream. Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
Step 4: Combine and Serve
Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing to coat with the creamy garlic sauce. Return the steak to the pan and mix everything together. Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
